I do like the blue of this blog's background. I am busy these days making a new apartment into a home. It's a lovely space full of good light and hardwood floors. It feels loved. I talked to the landlord the other day. He moved out just a year or two ago, but he had lived here since 1963. "My wife never wanted to move from here," he said. I can see why. I like to think that she approves of us being here because we love it, too, and we're taking care of it.

I feel a bit silly about this blog. It's ages old, and yet I rarely ever write in it. At present it mainly exists to collect audioposts, which are meant for an open diary, and may not make much sense on their own. The thing is, now that blogger wants a blogger ID for comments on other blogs, I keep commenting places with this blog as the ID. I wonder what people think if they click through. I wonder how many of them listen to really terrible audioposts only to be embarrassed for me and perplexed --AT THE SAME TIME.

Maybe I wll try to write more here in the future, but I'm a pretty quiet beast, really. We'll see, I suppose. In the meantime, hi people!

Just watched Super Size Me. Feel ill despite having eaten only veggies for lunch. Now off to game night with pizza and beer. I am doomed.

Maybe I will begin posting here again. I feel a change coming anyway, and here's as good a place to start as any. I miss my Matrix style falling code background. Perhaps I should change the look of things around here... Who am I kidding? I totally won't. We both know this.
