Went to donate plasma today for the first time. It wasn't so bad. I was way too nervous, though. Also, next time, I should bring something to read with me. Ended up reading Sports Illustrated and only really could find one interesting article about an amateur boxer.

Rhinoceros in stomach invited friends over for party it seems. Ended up very unhappily being sick in Taco Bell bathroom on way to first Lend Me a Tenor rehearsal. Am feeling mostly better now. Am glad to have kicked rhino and friends out of system, but it seems am still left with party debris, i.e. imaginary rhino beer bottles and ashtrays. Am confident will feel better wholly by 4 a.m. for running. Called phone psychic place today. Am getting paperwork in mail any day and can begin working within a day or two of that. Guy was pretty nice on phone. Am having garage sale at James' parents' house on Saturday. Woo hoo, money! have priced a large quantity of clothing and am due to take books over tomorrow. Ooh, kitty is stretched out in style of graceful ballerina! From this angle it is almost possible to think of her as thin. Pretty mrow!

Have small rhinoceros parading around in stomach. Is no good. Cancelled plasma appointment, but have only small amount of time left before due to appear in Anderson. for candle party. No good at all.
Must also get mail, go to bank, and pay bills sometime today. Surely this busy lifestyle is healthy and conducive to weight loss?
Have found that busiest weekend in world has given way to equally busy Monday. Got back from dropping James at French class and grabbed a handful of Cap'n Crunch while awaiting phone call from Deidei saying, "Let's go to lunch!" Had just jammed nearly whole handful into mouth when of course phone rang. Chew chew swallow. Second ring. Chew... gulp. Picked up just before third ring with nearly, "Hey Deidei!" out when the person on the other end said, "Julia, this is Terri from Partylite." Quick flash to why would she call? Is she mad that I did not attend regional meeting? "I was wondering if you could do a show tonight for me in Anderson?" Oh, show request. First time I have been asked by another consultant. Money, goody! But wait, am scheduled to donate plasma for first time at three... takes up to three hours! "Er, what time?" show is at seven. Am not sure if I should cancel plasma donation, but did schedule appointment in advance and need money. Perhaps will only take two and a half hours... So Lunch with Deidei (if she ever calls), pick up James and lunch with James, go to plasma donation center, leave immediately for Anderson to do show and pray that absence of blood does not weaken me. Tomorrow should be normal. Gah! Have just remembered am scheduled to meet with Emily and close her show and then go to Lend me a Tenor read through. Have also to do massive laundry at laundromat tomorrow, find something nice to wear tonight that can be comfortable enough to donate plasma in, prepare hostess packets and door prize gifts... eek! Must get moving!

Lesson of the day: It is no fun to ride a bike while having to pee. One should make sure to visit the facilities prior to engaging in bike ride, or perhaps buy Stadium Pal if one is male. Have just returned from babysitting and feel truly summery as am still sporting chlorine damp hair from pool and have toasty outdoors feel of sun-baked skin. Not burnt though, just slightly warmed. Mmm. Also had chance to sample excellent freshly grilled steak prior to departure and am now craving whole steak. The family I babysit for is going to West Virginia next week on a vacation. Voluntarily. Better not tell them about my past visits to said state involving scary deliverance-esque people who said things like, "Dotty's our special pig. We ain't use her for no bacon," and, "I ain't wearin' no shoes, 'cause I live in West Virginia and I ain't got to!" Perhaps they will have magical marvelous experience that will redeem state in my eyes. Or perhaps nothing can redeem state in my eyes...
